New technologies in the Digital era have arisen to make our lives simple. One of these is the enhancement of workplaces through technologies that facilitate an individual experience. One example is computers, which have created new spaces for people to interact and inhabit. As a consequence, our society can be in more than one space, the physical but also the virtual. Thus, through this research, I am interested in exploring the experiences of individuals when both physical and virtual spaces are interrelated. Mostly to comprehend which aspects are present when these interrelations happen.

This report aims to investigate the pertinence of public art in people’s experiences by studying the newly designed urban trail ARKENWALK in Ishøj, a suburb located in Sjælland, Denmark. The analysis addresses how the premises of the red curved lamps placed by the Danish designer Jeppe Hein, are part of the intentions of improving the experience of walking from the Ishøj train station towards the Art Museum Arken. Because places and consumer experiences are always scripted through design by its creators, we want to illustrate how experiences are richly various and unpredictable.

This research focuses on developing insights about large-scale prototyping in blue-urban contexts through the case of the design process of CPH-Ø1 prototype developed by Maritime Architecture Studio as part of their Copenhagen Islands project.

This academic article aims to investigate the relationship that people living on water have with their environment. The article is based on the case study of Urban Rigger Copenhagen, which was conducted through collecting qualitative data from a range of interviews with tenants. This contributes to a better understanding of how residents connect and engage with the designed and natural surroundings in their everyday life. Through the structure of the paper the windows, the weather and embedded practices are highlighted as powerful actors in the relationship between humans and nature.
